Vacuum if you have time. We vacuum too, but less loose dirt means the machine spends more time on what is ground in.
Pick up the small stuff. Toys, cords, shoes and anything on the floor. We can move light furniture, but leave the fragile things to you.
Tell us about stains. What it was and how long it has been there changes what we use. Pet accidents especially.
Keep pets out until it is dry. Open a window or run the air con and it dries faster. Most carpet is good to walk on within a few hours.
